"Urinetown" is a satirical musical set in a world where a severe water shortage leads to the outlawing of private toilets and the establishment of a government managed pay-per-use public amenity system controlled by the corrupt Urine Good Company (UGC). The story follows a young man who leads a revolution against this oppressive system, aiming to achieve free access to the public amenities.
